a Girlz night out for my mom's bridal shower!
Yep, for those who did not know, my mom has been married for 5 months now to a guy named Don, who seems very kind and treats my mom really well. He is from Thailand and met my mom during Christmas 2010, so they were dating over a year before they eloped in Thailand!
Since my mom was in the states and we were all together in AZ, we decided to throw her a celebration at Olive Garden.
Amazing entrees and appetizers that we all shared, followed by dessert and . . .
some awkward presents that I will refrain from posting on the blog. We'll keep it PG this time. (Hehe. Most of it was things you'd expect at anyone's bridal shower -- if they weren't your mom, anyway! It was an interesting line we were crossing but hey -- when has our family ever not been "interesting"? = )
Moving onto a safer subject: Like our super flirty waitor whose efforts earned him a nice big tip for indulging our fun, cheesecake and lemon-cream cake. Mmm.
And babies. We love Charlotte! This girl hardly makes a fuss. She's awesome!
Congrats to my mom and her happiness!
*Honorable mention to the following photos before we mosey on over to Vegas:
KHUN YAI TIME
Yep, that's my gorgeous mama and adorable nieces and nephew in those previous shots.
Random, but just a plug for the exciting development of the Shipley's pool in their backyard. *Coming soon!
