Our stay at the hospital

Ty, looking cuter by the day.
I love how he's holding my mom's finger!

Catching sleep where we could!
Ty's really a good sleeper though. Learning to breast-feeding was tricky because he'd latch on but fall asleep within seconds! "Put in a little effort!" I'd say to him, because I certainly was. Ouch, ouch, ouch...is all I can say. Promises of, "It gets better. Give it two weeks!" have kept me going.
"Papa Rock"
I love catching him with his eyes open! I keep hoping they'll stay whatever that deep-blue is...but I know a lot of babies have that coloring at first.
Dan and I loved the care we received at the hospital. All of the nurses that worked with me were SO kind. And I still can't get over how large my hospital room was. It was also nice that I didn't have to move rooms after delivery. My recovery has been surprisingly fast. I chose 800mg of motrin over the percocet I was offered. I wasn't in very much pain, especially since I didn't need stitches (I still don't know how I lucked out with that!). The nurses were amazed at how easy it was for me to move and walk around. Me, too!
