It's been an ongoing tradition for three years now to go to the Shipleys in Arizona for either Memorial Day weekend or Labor Day. This year we made it in September again and had such a great time swimming, eating, and watching great movies! ("Non-Stop" with Liam Nieson. Such a great actor!) I loved catching up with Kali and Steph, too!
One of my favorite pictures of these two! Aaron felt too vulnerable in the one yellow life jacket, and was much happier when he felt the security of the pink floatie circling him! This trip was so great because Aaron swam a little bit, but we were also able to let him take this great big naps in the afternoon and enjoy the water without worrying about him so much!
This little guy... his shirt is the perfect saying because babies are always the family favorite for a while! Rad is so calm and adorable! (Belongs to Kali and Taylor Hoenes!, who lucked out with finally getting their boy!)
This next sequence of events is hilarious with Khun Maa attempting MANY TIMES to jump off the waterfall.
Maile was her support system. But after counting down 1...2..3...
...Khun Maa crouched but didn't actually jump! There was lots of laughter and nervous squealing from her end! We've all been there for that first jump. It doesn't look high, and really it's not, but for people afraid of heights, once you're standing at the edge, it's still scary the first few times!
At last! And she survived.
