Fortunately, we pepped up when the food arrived. We shared the most delicious platter we've ever eaten at Red Lobster. And trust me. We eat there at least every few months! I could go just for the biscuits, but our meal also included cesar salad, peppercorn sirloin steak, skewered shrimp in a creamy garlic sauce on rice pilaf, and a lobster tail. Oh, and a sunrise pina-colada. Mm-mm..AMAZING.
Next, we showed up at the theater an hour early. We were in the back of a very long line! Still, we were able to find two good seats and cozied up for the show. We both enjoyed it and Dan's not ashamed to admit it. Sure, it's not truly a high-quality movie and some of the acting is sub par but... I love the story-line and the books enough to overlook that.
Thanks to my mom for her willingness to babysit and allow us a fun evening together!
